Our Mission:

The Washington County Chapter of the American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by it's Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

Who we are: At the heart of the American Red Cross is a dedication to respond immediately when people are in need. The residents of this county can count on the Washington County Red Cross to be there:

• When disaster strikes
• When families need to be re-connected
• When people need help to keep themselves and their families safe

This organization cares for your families and your community. Every service that is provided is executed “people to people” with a dedication to continually enhance skills and expertise of the staff and volunteers in all areas of service.

• Providing emergency food, shelter, clothing to persons involved in a disaster
• Providing the communication between armed service personnel and their families
• Teaching a youngster to swim

• Reaching out to someone suffering from HIV/AIDS
